04 Dec Exploring “Partnership Building” with Red Innova and IE University
Red Innova is a private global community of social innovators connected with the Fundación MAPFRE Awards for Social Innovation, boosted by IE. We are a community that thrives on the exchange of expert knowledge and peer support, so that social impact projects can flourish worldwide.
Every season we design a program of activities for our Red Innova community, centered around different themes that are relevant to their needs as startups and scaleups. This spring and summer, amidst the major challenges we faced globally, our team was in touch with members across LATAM and Europe. In these calls, many mentioned their desire to build strategic partnerships to scale their impact.
With this in mind, we designed the FALL activities to support our members through different “partnership” related activities, most notably our exclusive Red Innova x IE masterclasses. On the theme of partnerships, we invited two IE Experts, Alberto Cremonesi and Daniel Medina to share their extensive knowledge on the topic.
Alberto is Director of Impact and Engagement at Impact Hub Global Network, one of the world’s largest communities of impact entrepreneurs. He is the founder of two social enterprises promoting equality and climate action in Cambodia and India – as well as a faculty member at IE University.
In Alberto’s Masterclass we explored the question “what does it take to build a successful partnership?” As a group we looked at the anatomy of a successful partnership; understood the necessary steps that go into building a long-lasting, winning relationship; drew lessons from cases and explored tools for implementing ideas right away.
Our final Masterclass was delivered by Daniel and acted as a nice follow-up from Alberto’s more exploratory session. Daniel is the co-founder and strategy director at Opinno. He has built high potential networks around companies and people for over 15 years, with a focus on building value and trust. Daniel is also a professor of Innovation in the Master in Customer Experience and Innovation at IE. In this session, we got an insight on how to map, design and activate an ecosystem around our company and our value proposition. There was lively conversation among our members and we had a great time sharing our personal experiences of networking in person and online.
The Red Innova have all had very positive feedback about the masterclasses, and we thank both Alberto and Daniel for sharing their insightful stories with us. Vamos, Red Innova!
