Red Innova is a global community of social innovators, who participated in the Social Innovation Awards by Fundación MAPFRE and powered by IE. Our members come from all across Latin America and Europe and have projects related to Mobility, Road Safety, Health and Insurance Innovation.

Every month we prepare a program of activities for our members, from expert masterclasses and meet-ups, to guest speaker spots at our events in IE Business School and Fundacion MAPFRE to collaborations with the iMBA and MCXI. After the summer break, it was full steam ahead with the preparation of the second edition final in the Museo de la Reina Sofia. In attendance was an enthusiastic audience, international semifinalists, Red Innova members and key representatives from the social innovation ecosystem in Spain and globally, including Diego del Álcazar Benjumea, Luis Hernando de Larramendi, Antonio Huertas, Cristina Gallach, Alteza Real Infanta Doña Elena, Ignacio Baeza and Julio Domingo.

We also engaged our expert alum Andrew Wong, founder of Fundie Ventures and Forbes 30 Under 30 in Spain, to deliver an Impact Investing masterclass. His masterclass helps our members become investor-ready when scaling their projects.

Three of our members published blogs as a way to share their knowledge about millennial topics (through the Fundacion MAPFRE website and as part of the Red Innova Collective Intelligence Committees) and health related SDG work. These came from Amanda of Horas da Vida, Daniel of Aiudo, and Salva of MJN-Seras.

Our team from the Centre for Social Innovation was busy travelling around Brazil, Peru, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Italy, Germany, Ireland to promote the awards in October. During the roadshow, we met up with as many of our dear Red Innova members for a catchup. See more in this  PDF !
