Would you quit everything in your life to take care of your mother, injured because of a fall and, beyond, devote yourself to preventing falls among elderly people? Would you consecrate your life to managing family crop risks in Africa? Could a road accident motivate a boy to become an engineer to safe children lives at crosswalks? These are some of the powerful motivations for the 9 European semi-finalist of the Second Edition of MAPFRE Foundation Social Innovation Awards.

On July 4^th, we could meet  all of them in Madrid, as they pitched in front of social impact investors and relevant actors in Europe’s Social Innovation Ecosystem. Following their pitches and deliberations, three of them where selected as finalists of the European Chapter of the competition.

After online and face-to-face coaching and mentoring sessions, the three finalists will present their projects at the Grand Finale in Madrid, on October 10^th.
