Imagine that you can detect heart problems at the pharmacy in a few seconds, empower female leadership in faraway villages thanks to insurance initiatives, save children’s lives through a collaborative platform, rehabilitate upper and lower limbs with a mental neurological device, or easily convert subsistence agriculture into intensive agriculture.

These are some of the amazing social impact projects we saw at the semi-final events of the Social Innovation Awards lead by Fundación MAPFRE, boosted by IE. More than 230 projects applied to be one of the 3 final representatives of their region (Latin-America, Brazil & Europe) in Madrid.

Come to see the 9 European candidates pitching 4th July at MAPFRE Foundation from 16:00h. Pº Recoletos, 23, Madrid. At the event you will learn about projects that: Anticipate strokes, avoid falls caused by Parkinson or other diseases, bring energy from roads, and utilise next  generation QR  for improving the lives of the blind. All of them with a deep social impact.
