One of the most enriching parts of our day-to-day is working with (and for) people who are changing the world – particularly those who dedicate their lives to social impact projects.

When these people thank us, we always say the same – we are the ones who are thankful to them. Working for those who are changing the world for millions of people is a privilege, to say the least.

Giving them a platform to present their projects is only the tip of the iceberg. Sometimes candidates include videos in their presentations – videos that show how their solutions are impacting so many lives in profound ways. For example: blind people being liberated by being able to move around independently on public transportation; children with cancer understanding why they feel the way they do after chemotherapy; boys and girls with atrophied hands drinking or writing with ease; and so on…

Can you imagine waking up each day and feeling so fulfilled in your job? That is what happens at the Social Innovation Department @IE, and thanks to social impact projects like the Social Innovation Awards by Fundación MAPFRE boosted by IE.
