9 finalists out of 364 applicants will defend their projects in Madrid on the 17th October 2017 at Fundación Giner de los Ríos.
Representing 3 different regions (LATAM, Brazil and Europe) only 3 winners will be awarded by 30.000 euros on 3 categories: Health, Security & Mobility and Insurance Innovation.
E-HEALTH CATEGORY
Camila Vivallo. OLIBER (Orthosis for people with atrophied hands that provides autonomy when performing daily activities); Simone Lehwess Mozzilli. BEABA (Demystify the treatment of cancer for children (and their environment) in the treatment phase through gamification);Salva Gutierrez Mora. MJN (Early warning device on epilepsy attack).
INSURTECH CATEGORY
Miguel Duhalt. 4UNO (domestic staff system that dignifies workers thanks to savings procedure and health coverage); Diogo Tolezano. PLUVI.ON (real time and low-cost weather monitoring platform that uses IoTand AI to send early warning alerts to companies); Kristina Tsvetanova. BLITAB (adapted tablet device for sightless people).
SECURITY & MOBILITY CATEGORY
René Espinoza Jimenez. LAZARILLO (voice translation system of the environment –inside and outside buildings- for blind people); André Correa de Andrade. ZUMPY (Smartphone app that aims to reduce the number of cars on the streets of big cities, making it easier for people with the same destination to move together safely); Jose Maria Gomez Márquez. SCOOBIC (new type of vehicle, agile and light as a motorcycle but with the capacity to load a van, designed to cover a shortage detected in the market of light commercial vehicles).
