24 Sep The 2018 World Bank Group Youth Summit: Unleashing the Power of Human Capital is now accepting participant applications and competition submissions!
In today’s era of rapid technological change, human capital explains up to two-thirds of income differences across the world. Investments in human capital, specifically education, skills, health, and life-long learning are not only key drivers of productivity and economic growth, but also contribute to individuals’ self-empowerment.
Do you have an idea or an established venture that fosters education, skills-development, or better healthcare outcomes in developing countries across the globe?
This year’s Youth Summit will seek to provide youth with a forum to share their ideas and innovations with young professionals and World Bank Group representatives, encouraging the creation of initiatives required to advance human capital in our technology-driven future.
Apply today to attend the Summit, and/or submit an innovative idea that contributes to building human capital to participate in the Summit’s competition. The top 6 finalists will be invited to pitch their concepts/launched ventures in front of senior representatives from the WBG and venture philanthropists. The World Bank Group wants to hear from you; young change-makers from across the globe!
