27 Feb Tech 4 Change Conference on March 1

Entrepreneurial mindset, innovation and positive impact are core values at IE. Those values will be showcased at the Tech 4 Change conference on Thursday, March 1st, hosted by the IE Net Impact Club, in collaboration with MakeSense and Impact Revolution.

Technological advancements have taken huge strides in recent years, from drones and blockchain to big data and artificial intelligence. In addition to modernizing our daily lives and catalysing business progress, these technologies have a potential to solve social and sustainable issues that impact our world. The Tech 4 Change conference will bring together business and technology leaders, students and academia to merge their skills and promote ideas on how we can apply breakthrough technology to solve the United Nations Sustain Development goals.

Besides a panel discussion led by IE Social Innovation’s very own director, Prof. Conchita Galdón, Tech 4 Change will also feature interactive case challenges for attendees to solve a social / environmental problem using one of the four featured technologies. The  beauty of these conferences is that it is a platform for a diverse group of people to share their unique perspectives on the same challenge, hopefully inspiring new and better ideas.

All profits of the event will be donated to a cause selected by the winning team.
